range and a wide range of expertise. I'm comfortable with all of it,
but remember that some readers may need and appreciate a few words of
background.
Slow threads may disappear after a few weeks, but I'm a firm
believer in long-term memory and won't let valuable input disappear.
Spam and gratuitous off-topic postings, I'll delete promptly and
without apology. On the other hand, I will not play Nice Police, so
feel free to speak frankly and respectfully by your own lights.
If you want an identification for your specimen, it helps to show photographs, taken as close as possible and in good light. Describe where it came from plus any other detail you like.
