"The first full day out I had indigestion/seasickness, so the next day I couldn't eat at all. But the latest treatment—a three-day slow-release scopolamine badge I wear behind the ear—works well. Yesterday I saw a small pod of porpoises and today a few whale-blows. Until now I haven't watched the sea much because it's been gloomy and stormy. We haven't had really rotten weather yet, so I keep my fingers crossed."
