Bottleneck Peak, Utah, USA

U.S. Bureau of Land Management photo by Jerry Sintz (fair use policy)

Bottleneck Peak is one of many wonderful buttes and mesas in the San Rafael Swell region of central Utah. Its neighbors have equally suggestive names, like Window Blind Peak, Assembly Hall Peak and The Wickiup. This region is the focus of activism aimed at bringing it greater protection as the Redrock Wilderness. See more at the Southern Utah Wilderness Alliance site.
