slickensideSlickensides are the polished rock surfaces that sometimes form on faults. I've been occasionally adding to a slickenside photo gallery showing these features in detail, and this weekend I found two more examples (the first two) that should help you spot them. One nice thing about slickensides is that when you find one, you get to call out "Slickenside!"
