U.S. News & World Report has released its annual ranking of higher education institutions for 2010. Naturally, I want to know what the best geology schools are. Assuming that you do too, here they are:

Best U.S. graduate schools:
Earth science category
Geochemistry
Geology
Geophysics/Seismology
Paleontology

Best U.S. liberal arts colleges for geology/Earth science
Best national universities for geology/Earth science
Best baccalaureate colleges, Northeast
Best baccalaureate colleges, Southeast
Best baccalaureate colleges, Midwest
Best baccalaureate colleges, West

Best U.S. master's universities, Northeast
Best U.S. master's universities, Southeast

I think you mean “Midwest” in the names of some of your lists rather than “Upper Midwest.” Not all of the schools on these lists are in the Dakotas, Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, Iowa, and Minnesota. Some are in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, and Ohio.
