"Intelligent design" dismantled

You'll see it Tuesday night on television, a Nova documentary on the 2005 court case that threw "intelligent design" (ID) out of the nation's science classrooms. But if you prefer a dissection of this pseudointellectual school of rhetoric, I've given a popular article by leading ID theorist Michael Behe a critical reading in my article "'Intelligent Design' Explained." It's just one of the pieces in my Wild and Bemusing Earth Theories list.

Well as I understand then you must believe we descended from monkeys, all life was a pure accident . That the mind boggling structure of DNA was a result of pure chance. That a one celled thing decided I will become two.
