Geology in 3D
Saturday November 10, 2007
One thing they teach in geology school is how to see three-dimensional images by viewing stereopairs of photos. Sometimes you'll see a stereopair published in a paper, and when that happens it's real handy, and fun, to cross your eyes quickly and catch a glimpse of geology in the round. Beyond that, mappers and photogrammetrists use stereopairs extensively. It's a key tool for planetary researchers as well. My new set of simple stereopairs will help you with this skill.Ship Rock in stereo Geology Guide photos
