I'm thrilled because it will be the first time I've ever made a presentation at GSA or any scientific meeting. For a minute there, I was envisioning the fantasy I've had since I submitted the abstract a few weeks ago: a buzzing crowd, people kneeling in the aisles. The session chair is waving people up, saying "Plenty of seats in the front!" They're all smiling at me.

Well, so be it! My poster will be the most impressive, amazing thing. People will gather eagerly, read every word, and turn to me with shining faces as they ask to know more . . . . Now I just need to get some poster inspiration.
