More Hazardous Plants

Wednesday October 18, 2006
stinging nettleThanks to you for some suggested additions—and photos—for the new hazardous plants gallery. Some of the suggestions are plants that are poisonous if you eat them, but geologists don't run that risk and I don't include them. I make an exception, though, for oleander because many folks consider it dangerous to touch (I know I used to believe that), but in fact its danger lies in eating it or inhaling its smoke. Keep the ideas and photos coming.
