Global warming in a nutshell

Sunday July 24, 2005
Global warming is a geologic fact, but for a long time its connection to human activities was open to honest dispute. That time has passed, and it's time that I laid out the skeleton of the science that makes the case. Conversely, the opponents of this scientific conclusion are using increasingly underhanded tactics that depart from science in the direction of outright thuggery. With the growing certainty of the science and the growing deterioration of the opposition, it is no longer legitimate to question the human responsibility for global warming. The paradigm has shifted.
