Britain in 3D
Monday May 23, 2005
A recent story from the BBC reports on a lovely initiative by the British Geological Survey that has put the geologic map of Britain into a 3D scheme, including the usual rocks but also earthquake hypocenters, the Moho and other subterranean features. The Survey's home site is getting hammered, so for now enjoy the BBC story which includes sample views of the new model.
