New fossil wood

The fossil wood page becomes more like a gallery with the photo of a new specimen I collected last weekend. The locality, in the Panoche Hills of central California, dates from the latest Cretaceous. In fact the famous Cretaceous-Tertiary boundary occurs here, but it's totally subtle.
