Sumatran quake and tsunami toll near 300,000

The latest total I have seen puts the deaths from the 26 December earthquake and tsunami at 283,100 dead and 14,100 missing. With that I am ready to list this tragedy at a round 300,000 in the deadliest tsunamis list. The great majority of the deaths are due to the wave, and about 47,000 deaths were outside Indonesia.
