Geology rocks: about time reporters noticed

Wednesday November 17, 2004
The Geological Society of America met in Denver last week. Reporter Katy Human of the Denver Post talked to a bunch of the scientists there and wrote an engaging article that's a snapshot of today's geology--no longer a domain of clichéd dusty men seeking iron and oil, but a lively multidimensional, multicultural field with something to contribute in many aspects of today's society. You and I can say to Katy, thanks for noticing--spread the word!
