Another Nanno Note

Medical researchers claim to have found nannobacteria in the human body (here's the abstract from the American Journal of Physiology). The BBC reports some skepticism; New Scientist has more. I'm skeptical too, perhaps unfairly: a coauthor is Robert Folk, who discovered these infinitesimal spheroids 15 years ago. Folk started out convinced that the objects are living organisms despite good arguments and evidence to the contrary, and I suspect he has an unhealthy attachment to his thesis.
