Geology Careers
Monday May 3, 2004
The "latest" Eos came today--the April 13 issue--and it had an article about a career forum put on by the National Academy of Science. A big chunk of the current professional workforce is nearing retirement age, which means that opportunities for geoscientists will hit a peak soon. Richard Anthes of UCAR said, "There is probably no better time than now to get involved in the geosciences. You will have plenty of job opportunities." And if you ask me, there's no better science to pursue. Start with the Careers in Geology category.

Its exciting to read that now is the best time to get involved in geoscience. But I noticed this was written in 2004, is this the same 3 years later in 2007? I’m asking because I’ve recently have been highly interested in this field and want to pursue a career in geology.
